ADB funding for Papua New Guinea

Asian Development Bank (ADB) approved a USD480 million financing facility as part of the Papua New Guinea Government's USD640 million civil aviation development investment programme (AirportSmart, 03-Dec-2009). The funds will assist the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) to rebuild the country's airports and conduct upgrades to meet ICAO safety and security standards.
