Abu Dhabi International Airport reports highest pax growth in 2014, record freight and movement

Abu Dhabi International Airport handled (24-Jan-2015) around 20 million passengers in 2014, an increase of 20% year-on-year, the highest ever growth in the airport's history. The airport also reported record annual aircraft and freight traffic, with cargo traffic increasing 12.8% to 797,069 and movements increased 14.5% to 154,821. For the month of Dec-2014, the airport handled 1.8 million passengers, up 21.7%, cargo traffic increased 5.6% to 69,736 and movements increased 17% to 14,105.
