A4A: US carriers report collective pre-tax profit of USD12bn in 1H2016

Airlines for America (A4A) stated (17-Aug-2016) the 10 biggest US carriers reported a collective pre-tax profit of USD12.0 billion and a profit margin of 15.5% in 1H2016. The carriers include Alaska Airlines, Allegiant Air, American Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Hawaiian Airlines, JetBlue Airways, Southwest Airlines, Spirit Airlines, United Airlines and Virgin America.
