Aegean Airlines pax up 15% to 4.3m in three months ended 30-Sep-2015

Aegean Airlines reported (07-Oct-2015) the following traffic highlights for the three months ended 30-Sep-2015:

• Passenger numbers: 4.3 million, +15% year-on-year;
• • Domestic: 1.9 million, +37%;

Aegean Airlines CEO Dimitris Gerogiannis said: "We are proud that AEGEAN was able to provide growth, both in quantitative and qualitative terms, through new connections and new aircraft both from the base in Athens, and in particular from Crete and Rhodes, which have suffered the effects of the crisis in Russia. We contributed almost 50% of the additional international traffic to Greece in 2015."
