15 arrested in India's fake pilot licence scam

India's Director General of Civil Aviation stated 15 people have been arrested in Delhi and Jaipur since 07-Mar-2011 after the fake pilot issue was discovered by the DGCA (Press Trust of India, 20-Apr-2011). Police have stated that some files related to cases where pilots are alleged to have obtained licences using forged documents have gone missing from DGCA office. Police have commenced a case of destruction of evidence against unknown persons and initiated an investigation.
