Moscow Domodedovo Airport domestic pax up 1.5% in Oct-2016

Moscow Domodedovo Airport reported (17-Nov-2016) the following traffic highlights in the ten months ended Oct-2016:

• Passenger numbers: 24.6 million;
• • Domestic: 14.3 million;
  • International: 10.3 million.

Domestic passenger numbers increased by 1.5% year-on-year, to 1.3 million in Oct-2016. The most popular destinations during the first ten months of 2016 were Sochi, Novosibirsk, Chelyabinsk, Samara and Mineralnye Vody. Larnaca, Punta Cana, Enfidha, Phuket and Djerba were the most popular international destinations during the period. The airport handled 83,700 passenger on charter services Turkey in Oct-2016 and 119,800 passengers on the route since the resumption of Turkey charter services in Sep-2016.
