31-Jan-2013 Visiting Malaysia is to be made easier and better value for international travellers with the launch of the new oneworld Visit Malaysia pass by the oneworld® airline alliance - offering savings of up to 60 per cent on flights within one of Asia's most attractive and diverse countries.

The latest offering in oneworld's market-leading range of alliance fares will be available for sale from midnight tonight, as Malaysia Airlines, one of Asia's leading airlines, joins oneworld, which aims to be to be the first choice airline alliance for frequent international travelers.

oneworld's new Visit Malaysia pass offers great value travel for visitors to the country throughout the entire Malaysia Airlines' domestic network.

Malaysia Airlines serves 16 destinations across Malaysia's peninsula mainland and islands, including Sabah and Sarawak on Borneo Island - from the skyscrapers of Kuala Lumpur to the wooden houses on stilts in remote villages, from the tropical beaches of Langkawi and Penang to the jungle gateways of Kota Kinabalu and Kuching.

Malaysia Airlines Group Chief Executive Ahmad Jauhari Yahya said: "Malaysia Airlines' addition to oneworld from midnight tonight means that it will be easier than ever before to visit our wonderful country from all over the world.

"The oneworld Visit Malaysia pass is designed to encourage visitors to sample the world famous Malaysian Hospitality throughout our nation - from the capital's Petronas Twin Towers to the tea and rubber plantations of the Cameron Highlands, the world-class hotels and golf courses of Langkawi and Penang, the snorkelling and scuba diving resorts on the East Coast and the orang-utan hideaways of Borneo."

The oneworld Visit Malaysia pass must be purchased in conjunction with an international flight to Malaysia with any oneworld member airline. It can include just one Malaysia Airlines' domestic flight or more, at prices that offer savings of up to 60 per cent on Malaysia Airlines' regular published fares.
