Between January and June, the affiliated airlines of Avianca Holdings S.A.(*) carried 11,924,317 passengers, a 9.3% increase over the same period in 2012. In June, the subsidiary companies of Avianca Holdings transported 2,020,954 passengers, up 8.3% compared to June 2012. Capacity, measured in ASK's (available seat kilometers), increased 8.5% while passenger traffic, measured in RPK´s (passenger revenue per kilometer flown), increased 9.5%. The load factor for the month was 80.7%. Domestic markets in Colombia, Peru and Ecuador From January through June 2013, the number of passengers carried by the affiliated companies of Avianca Holdings within the domestic markets of Colombia, Peru and Ecuador was 6,935,309, up 11.1% compared to 2012. Capacity (ASK) in these markets increased 17.2% while passenger traffic (RPK) increased 13.4%. As a result the load factor was 76.6%. In June, the subsidiary airlines of Avianca Holdings transported within these markets a total of 1,182,304 travelers, up 9.5% compared to June 2012. Capacity (ASK) increased 16.7%, while passenger traffic (RPK) increased 10.9%. As a result the load factor was 77.4%. International markets From January through June 2013, the number of passengers carried on international routes was 4,989,008, up 6.9% compared to 2012. Capacity (ASK) grew 4.6% while passenger traffic (RPK) increased 7.4%. As a result the load factor increased to 80.3%. In June, the affiliated airlines of Avianca Holdings transported 839,650 passengers on international routes, up 6.6% compared to 2012. Capacity (ASK) increased 6.6% while passenger traffic (RPK) grew 9.2%. As a result the load factor climbed to 81.6%.
