Wataniya Airways to operate from Ataturk; Royal Jordanian shares gain 3.3%

Wataniya Airways, subsidiary of Kuwait National Airways (0%), announced on Tuesday (26-Oct-2010) its three times weekly service to Turkey will operate to Ataturk International Airport instead of Sabiha Gokcen from 02-Nov-2010.

Istanbul was Wataniya's first European destination city since the launch of scheduled operations in Jan-2009. The airline began regular scheduled services to Istanbul in May-2010.

Kenya Airways (-0.6%) will commence three times weekly Nairobi-Rome services from 13-Dec-2010 using B767-300 ER aircraft (Alternative Airlines, 26-Oct-2010). Six times weekly Nairobi-Malindi services will also commence on 06-Dec-2010 using Embraer 170 aircraft.

Meanwhile, Royal Jordanian (+3.3%) and Lonrho (+3.3%) shares gained the most on Tuesday (26-Oct-2010) while Air Arabia (-0.7%) shares dropped.
