Tourism growth accelerating in North Asia - PATA

Visitor arrivals to North Asia are accelerating, according

to latest predictions by the Pacific Asia Travel Association. Total arrivals

in North Asia (China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Macau) are predicted

to rise from 179.6 million in 2005 to 226.1 million by 2009, an annual average

growth rate (AAGR) of 6.1%, slightly ahead of the PATA total average of 6.0%.
