Syria to get a new airline from next month

The moribund Syrian aviation market is set to experience new life. Lu'lua (Pearl) Airlines plans to commence services on 01-May-09, becoming Syria's first private commercial carrier. The carrier expects to receive its first two BAe-146-300 aircraft at Damascus International Airport on 29-Apr-09.
