Royal Jordanian extends contract with Worldwide Flight Services; 1time flight has maintenance issues
Royal Jordanian (+1.8%) extended its contract with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) to include all ramp transportation at London Heathrow. The new contract, effective immediately, means WFS now provides all cargo handling and ramp transport for the airline's daily Amman-London Heathrow service.

Middle East shares remained relatively steady with Air Arabia (-0.6%) down and Kuwait National Airways stable.
South Africa's JSE Africa All Share Index declined 1.1% on Wednesday (23-Jun-2010), the biggest retreat since 07-Jun-2010 while Comair (-9.3%) and Lonrho (-2%) decreased and 1time (+8.1%) shares rose. Also on 23-Jun-2010, a 1time aircraft was forced to return to King Shaka Airport for maintenance immediately after take-off due to problems with its landing gear.
Kenya Airways (+1.6%) shares posted their biggest increase since 02-Jun-2010 while the Nigerian Stock Exchange All-Share Index fell -0.8%.
