Peruvian concession package agreed for six airports

Aeropuertos Andinos del Peru (AADP) has been awarded the concession by ProInversión, Peru's private investment promotion agency, for the construction and management of six new airports in southern Peru and there is more to come with Cusco lined up next for a new terminal. Other countries in Latin America have moved beyond the concession agreement as the most popular form of privatising airports but it still retains its popularity in the region. [1427 words]
