Nuance Sweden lands multi Airport deal - All contracts extended to 2010

Analysis

STOCKHOLM (The Nuance Group) - The LFV Group, Arlanda Schiphol Development Company and The Nuance Group are pleased to announce a multi airport deal with all existing contracts extended to 2010. In the strong partnership approach established between the parties involved, all upcoming investments and developments within the airports will be conjointly handled by the LFV Group and Nuance.

Nuance is further expanding and upgrading its Swedish operations. Following a contract extension for all existing locations to 2010, Nuance is now closely reviewing its offer both at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport as well as the regional airports and gearing it to the needs of a changing customer basis. From 2006, in addition to the current locations, Nuance will be operating new stores within Terminal 4 and within Terminal 5 of Stockholm-Arlanda Airport.

Stockholm-Arlanda Airport: relevant investments and three new stores
Nuance and airport operator Arlanda Schiphol Development Company AB (ASDC) have teamed up in a close relationship in order to further upgrade the shopping offer at Stockholm-Arlanda Airport. Beginning from January 2006, all existing shops will be matched to the needs of new customer profiles at the airport's terminals. The partners have agreed on a very close cooperation including a joint communication concept in order to make optimum use of the potential airport shopping presents.

One result of their joint analyses is the opening of three new stores to be operated by Nuance. In Terminal 4, which so far has not featured any proper commercial offer, Nuance will open a 145 sqm Perfumes & Cosmetics shop as well as an outlet offering gadgets on a total of 35 sqm. These two shops are designed to meet the demands of a predominantly Swedish customer group. In Terminal 5 there will be a 120 sqm new Technology store comprising technology hardware, software and accessories.

Walk-through stores for Terminal 5 and 2
Also in Terminal 5, the current Perfumes & Cosmetics shop will be moved to an area just across the aisle from the existing Liquor/Tobacco and Confectionery Shop, thus creating a walk-through store. The area now dedicated to Perfumes & Cosmetics will be reallocated to house a Swedish Design concept along with a Hugo Boss Shop.

For Terminal 2, Nuance has designed yet another new walk-through-store to optimally serve the important Non-Schengen customer group. For the new layout, the floor size of the existing outlet has been increased by 100% to 240 sqm. The shop's offer will comprise all core categories including an enhanced wine & champagne offer, as well as technology, sunglasses, fashion watches and Swedish design.

Göteborg-Landvetter Airport is to receive a new terminal layout in 2007, which is being developed in close cooperation. Furthermore, the offer at the other regional Swedish airports Nuance will be upgraded in order to reflect the increasing importance of these terminals.
