Commenting on this achievement Malaysia Airlines' Managing Director Mr Idris Jala said, "Malaysia Airlines is no stranger to winning awards for its high quality products and services. We thank the readers of Travel Weekly and travel agents in the UK who voted us for this award."

"This recognition by Travel Weekly is testimony to the superiority of our enhanced product and service standards that we have consistently delivered to our customers. It also reflects the success of our Going Beyond Expectations service delivery philosophy which has won us other reputable awards in both the UK and in other parts of the world," he added.

This year is the 29th Anniversary of the Travel Weekly Globes, the number one UK travel industry Awards, which recognizes excellence amongst travel industry suppliers.

Voting is entirely by travel agent readers of Travel Weekly, the UK's leading travel trade publication. The votes are collated and audited by AC Nielsen, the travel industry's only official data analyst.
