Jetstar Pacific faces a branding problem

The Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam (CAAV), part of the Ministry of Transport (MOT), has decreed that Jetstar Pacific Airlines is to be prohibited from continuing to use the Jestar name and logo, with the carrier reportedly instructed to develop a new brand and new logo to meet requirements of Vietnam's Commercial Law, Competition Law, Aviation Law and Intellectual Property Law.
