Jet Airways, EVA Air and Asiana Airlines big movers

Analysis

Asia Pacific airline shares were mostly higher yesterday, led by Jet Airways (+8.0%), EVA Air (+5.2%) and Asiana Airlines (+3.0%).

Jet Airways reportedly plans to induct two leased B737s on lease from BOC Aviation in May-2010, which will be deployed on Jet Konnect domestic routes and short-haul international routes. Jet Konnect meanwhile launched "Konnect Select", a premium cabin on some key domestic routes on 26-Apr-2010.

EVA Air continued to trade higher in the afterglow of its record 1Q2010 results.
