Jazeera Airways stimulates traffic with new routes and low fares

Premium Analysis

Jazeera Airways launched its first new route of 2009 just 14 days into the year, in a sign the carrier is eager, as ever, to expand its network. The new twice-weekly service from Kuwait to the North-Eastern Syrian city of Deir Ez Zoor is aimed at tourist traffic and is the carrier's second destination in Syria, after Damascus. Jazeera is the first international carrier to offer service to Deir Ez Zoor.
