Japan Airlines and ANA shares ease on capacity cuts, Singapore Airlines advances - share price wrap

Investors sent Japan Airlines and All Nippon Airways shares lower yesterday, by 1.5% and 0.9%, respectively, as both carriers confirmed capacity cuts amid softening demand.

Singapore Airlines also confirmed capacity cuts to Europe, India and North America, but its shares rose 3.1%, while Qantas (+2.1%) confirmed it is considering its capacity and fare settings.

Korean Air and Asiana shares rebounded 9.2% and 3.6%, respectively, after heavy falls the previous day.
