Iran's Airports Holding Company (IAHC) announced plans to classify and standardise Iran's airports. IAHC will do this by first assessing the strengths and weaknesses of each airport, as according to Deputy Director, Ali Golmohammadi, the level of service at the airports is currently "acceptable, but not excellent".
