Hong Kongs Cathay Pacific bolsters services to India with 20 new flights weekly

By early June Cathay will have added 20 new India flights per week, chief executive Tony Tyler said.
Cathay's sister airline, Dragonair, is also due to launch on May 1 a daily flight to Bangalore using an A330-300 aircraft, he said.
Cathay's services to Mumbai and Delhi will both become daily from Feb 29 with the addition of three flights a week to each city.
The extra flights to Mumbai will continue on to Dubai.
Starting March 30, Cathay will add three more flights to Mumbai, giving it 10 a week to India's commercial hub.
It will also add a daily flight to Delhi, making a total of 14 flights per week to the capital.
On June 1 Cathay will begin four-times-a-week service to Chennai, India's fourth-largest city.
