European traffic and load factors edge up in fourth week of March

Europe's full service airlines have seen a further recovery in traffic volumes in the week ended 30-Mar-09, after a worrying slump in the middle of last month. Total scheduled traffic (RPKs) for the members of the Association of European Airlines (AEA) was down 6.5% in the week ended 30-Mar-09 (Week 13), after falling 8% the previous week. [511 words]
