Emirates reports strong traffic growth

SYDNEY (Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation) - Emirates reports the following financial/traffic highlights for the six months ended 30-Sep-05:

Revenue: AED10.4 billion, +26.8% year-on-year;

Net Profit: AED922 million, +6.6%;

Passenger numbers: 7.0 million, +15.4%;

Passenger load factor: 76%, +2.6 ppts;

Cargo volume: 482,643 tonnes, +20.0%.
