EADS shares gain another 3% - Suppliers Share Wrap

EADS announced it is soliciting bids for the design and construction of a facility in the US where it would convert A330F airframes into aerial refuelling tankers for the US Air Force. The announcement is another positive display from EADS in the tanker competition. EADS shares rose 3.1%, while shares in competitor, Boeing, dropped 1.6%.

Embraer shares gained 1.2%, while Bombardier shares were up 0.2%. Bombardier announced orders for nine business jets, worth close to USD200 million at list prices.

Shares in Hong Kong-based MRO company HAECO gained 5.6%. The company has announced MRO agreements with Lufthansa Cargo and Cathay Pacific over the last few months.
