Canadian and Australian investors target key English midlands airport

Australia's Macquarie Airports Group (MAG) and Ireland's Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) have sold their 24.125% stakes (combined 48.25%) in Birmingham Airport Holdings Ltd in the UK for a combined GBP420 million (USD846 million). The stakes were sold to Airport Group Investments Limited, a consortium of Ontario Teachers Pension Plan Board (OTPP) and Victorian Funds Management Corporation (VFMC), an Australian state government agency.
