Brad Mottier named President and CEO of GE Engine Services

EVENDALE (GE Transportation) - Bradley D. Mottier has been named president and chief executive officer of GE Engine Services within GE Transportation, Aircraft Engines. Mottier replaces Dan Heintzelman, who will assume the role of vice president of Energy Services for GE Energy.

Since 2002, Mottier has served as president and chief executive officer of Unison Industries, a wholly owned subsidiary of Aircraft Engines' Engine Services operation. Mottier joined GE in 2002, when GE acquired Unison Industries.

Prior to the acquisition, he worked for more than 20 years at Unison, holding various roles of increasing responsibility. These roles included senior development engineer, engineering manager, materials manager, quality control manager, product line manager, sales and marketing manager, operations manager, vice president of marketing, senior vice president and executive vice president. Mottier also holds three patents in ignition technologies.

Mottier is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana, where he earned a bachelor's degree and master's degree in general engineering. He also has earned a master's degree in business administration from the University of Chicago.

He is vice president of the Sontag Foundation; director of the General Aviation Manufacturers Association; and a distinguished alumnus of the Department of General Engineering at the University of Illinois.
