ANA weathers the storm, but sees turbulence ahead

All Nippon Airways (ANA) Group has delivered a highly creditable 10.5% lift in operating profit in its first quarter (three months ended 30-Jun-08), despite a 1.2% dip in Group revenue and soaring oil costs. Operating margin rose from 3.8% in the first quarter of the last financial year to 4.2% this year.
