Airservices Australia: new controller agreement signed

The Australian Air Traffic Control (ATC) industrial relations landscape looks like it will be somewhat smoother for the foreseeable future, with the announcement of a key agreement between Airservices Australia, the Australian Air Navigation Services Provider (ANSP) and its air traffic controllers (ATCOs). After more than 12 months of turbulence ATCOs, represented by the Civil Air union, signed a new industrial agreement with the ANSP in early May-2009.
