Air Berlin reported improvements on both the revenue and cost sides in Jul-08. Revenue per available seat kilometer (ASK) increased +14.7% to EUR5.86 cents while Air Berlin CEO, Joachim Hunold, stated the airline's cost reduction programme is starting to show results in the areas of bookings, capacity and passenger yield, which have now improved from 2007 levels.
