Aerospace shares bounce back

Shares in major aerospace manufacturers and parts suppliers bounced back on Thursday, lead by Canadian aircraft and transport manufacturer Bombardier, which announced several orders from its rail division over the week. Also up was French parts and interiors manufacturer Zodiac Aerospace, which reported revenue growth of 34.9% to EUR667 million for the second quarter of its 2010/2011 fiscal year.

Zodiac Aerospace revenue highlights for the six months ended 28-Feb-2011:

Revenue: EUR1311 million, +35.7% year-on-year;
AeroSafety and Technology: EUR269.6 million, +19.3%;
Aircraft systems: EUR264.6 million, +20.7%;
Cabin interiors: EUR776.4 million, +49.2%.
