Since 1988 Lufthansa Consulting, an independent subsidiary of the Lufthansa Aviation Group, has provided services and solutions to the air transportation industry worldwide. The company serves airlines, airports and aviation authorities, as well as related industries such as ground handling companies, cargo terminal operators, aircraft manufacturers and financial institutions. Lufthansa Consulting's headquarters are in Frankfurt, Germany, and there is a local sales office in Moscow. In 2014, Lufthansa Consulting Ltda. (Limitada) was founded, a legal entity in Brazil, as the representative and operational base for the activities in South America.
