Antonov is a Ukrainian aircraft manufacturing and services company and part of the Ukrainian Defence Industry (Ukroboronprom). It is a state-owned company, founded in 1946, headquartered in Kiev, Ukraine. Antonov's particular expertise is in the field of very large cargo aircraft. The company has produced an approximate total of 22,000 aircraft (model prefix – AN).
