Air Greenland is the country’s flag carrier which is part owned by the Government of Greenland, the SAS Group and the Government of Denmark. Air Greenland is the only carrier operating within Greenland. The main international gateway to Greenland is Kangerlussuaq Airport, while Nuuk Airport and Ilulissat Airport are the major domestic airports. The Ministry of Transport and Civil Aviation Greenland is the aviation regulator.
