The Cayman Islands (British overseas territory) consists of two main regional airlines: Cayman Airways is the largest followed by Island Air Cayman Islands BWI that operates smaller intra-island services.

The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) of the Cayman Islands is responsible for overseeing aviation. The Air Navigation Services Regulation Division is responsible for regulatory safety and Air Navigation Services Systems. As a British Territory, Cayman Islands aviation must conform to the recommended practices and standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO). Cayman Island airspace is subject to a multilateral agreement between the Caribbean Community (CARICOM).
