Marechal Rondon International Airport serves the western Brazilian city of Cuiabá, capital and tourism centre of Mato Grosso State. The city is at the geographic centre of South America and its relative isolation from other urban centres has resulted in a strong domestic aviation network. Aeroeste Aeroportos SA commenced their 30 year concession to operate the airport on 30-Dec-2019, the airport was previously operated by INFRAERO.
