About

V Air was a Taiwanese LCC and subsidiary of TransAsia Airways. The carrier launched operations on 16-Dec-2014, with its maiden service from Taipei Taoyuan to Bangkok Don Mueang. V Air operated a route network spanning destinations across Southeast Asia. The carrier utilised a fleet of Airbus A321 aircraft.

On 09-Aug-2016, TransAsia Airways announced its board has approved plans to integrate wholly-owned subsidiary V Air with the carrier, with the LCC to cease operations from 01-Oct-2016. TransAsia later ceased operations on 22-Nov-2016.
