About

Fly540 Angola commenced operations as an International Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) registered carrier in Jan-2011 and is based at Luanda with an additional operating base at Cabinda. Angola was targeted as base for Fly540, which is 49% owned by the Lonrho Group, as it believes the market is "significantly under-served" in terms of regional and domestic air service. Fly540 suspended its operations in Angola in Apr-2014.
