About
Founded in 1948, El Al is the national airline of Israel and is based at Ben Gurion International Airport in Tel Aviv. The carrier operates scheduled domestic and international passenger and cargo services to Europe, the Americas, Africa and Asia.
UP was the low cost carrier brand of El Al which commenced operations on 30-Mar-2014. The carrier offered economy and premium economy seating, as well as two fare classes, UP Basic and UP Smart. The carrier ceased operations from Oct-2018, with services and aircraft returning to El Al.
Sun d'Or International Airlines is a wholly-owned subsidiary El Al. The carrier operates regular, ad-hoc and seasonal passenger services to destinations throughout Europe.
