Air France-KLM is a European airline holding company with majority stakes in a number of large airlines including Air France (100%) and KLM (100%). The company is registered in France and is listed on the European stock exchange (Euronext: AF).

Air France-KLM was formed in May-2004 with the merger of Air France and KLM, both SkyTeam members, and both operating under their distinct brands.

Air France-KLM group consists of a network of wholly owned airlines including:

  • HOP!
  • KLM Cityhopper (since Nov-2002)
  • transavia.com (since Jun-2003)
  • transavia.com France (since May-2007)
  • Martinair (since Dec-2008)
  • Joon (launched 01-Dec-2017; ceased operations in Jun-2019)

Air France-KLM also has minority interests in:

  • Air Mauritius (2.78%)
  • GOL Linhas Aereas (1.19%)
  • Kenya Airways (7.76%)
  • Royal Air Maroc (1.25%)
