Xiamen Airlines launches first intercontinental service to Amsterdam

Xiamen Airlines, via its official Weibo account, announced (26-Jul-2015) the launch of three times weekly Xiamen-Amsterdam service with Boeing 787 equipment on 26-Jul-2015, marking the carrier's first intercontinental service - see Route Changes Table for more information. Xiamen Airlines reported 90% load factor on the inaugural service, with load factor averaging 80% during based on booking rate. Codeshare partner KLM Dutch Airlines also operates three times weekly on the sector.
