Xiamen Airlines achieves 23rd consecutive annual profit in 2009

Xiamen Airlines stated it achieved its 23rd consecutive annual profit in 2009, with an operating revenue* of CNY7.7 billion (USD1.1 billion), an increase of 13.6% year-on-year (Carnoc.com, 01-Jan-2010). The carrier also reported the following traffic highlights for the 12 months ended 31-Dec-2009:

• Passenger numbers: 11.1 million, +15.7% year-on-year;
• Cargo volume: 127,000 tonnes, n/a.
