Wizz Air opens Craiova base

Wizz Air celebrated (23-Jul-2014) the opening of its newest Romanian base in Craiova. The airline is initially deploying one A320 aircraft to be based at Craiova Airport operating four new routes from Craiova to Barcelona, Bologna, Dortmund and Rome Ciampino starting from 23-Jul-2014. The carrier is also increasing frequency on existing routes to London Luton and Milan Bergama. Wizz Air is now offering six routes to four countries from its fifth base in Romania. Details include:

• Craiova-Bologna: Twice weekly from 23-Jul-2014;
• Craiova-Rome Ciampino: Twice weekly from 23-Jul-2014;
• Craiova-Dortmund: Three times weekly from 24-Jul-2014;
• Craiova-Barcelona: Twice weekly from 25-Jul-2014;
• Craiova-London Luton: Frequency increase from twice to three times weekly;
