West African Development Bank increases stake in ASKY, acquires shares in Air Côte d'Ivoire

West African Development Bank's (BOAD) board of directors approved (25-Sep-2014) the acquisition of an additional XOF3 billion (USD5.8 million) in shares in ASKY Airlines and a XOF2 billion (USD3.9 million) stake in Air Côte d'Ivoire on 23-Sep-2014. The bank's overall shareholding in ASKY Airlines will increase to XOF25 billion (USD48.6 million). The acquisition of shares in Air Côte d'Ivoire forms part of the airline's share capital increase from XOF25 billion to XOF65 billion (USD126.3 million). [more - original PR]
