'Watch this space, don't go on holiday', Unite warns pax

Unite's general secretary-elect, Len McCluskey, warned British Airways that cabin crew could strike again, stating "if we [Unite] do move to an industrial action ballot … then I suspect we will get a very, very substantial yes vote" (Reuters, 24-Nov-2010). Any hopes of a solution were diminished this week when BA suspended a cabin crew member after she reportedly launched a Christmas collection for suspended and sacked colleagues. Mr McCluskey warned: "Watch this space, don't go on holiday."
