Vilnius Airport reports record pax in Aug-2015

Vilnius International Airport reported (16-Sep-2015) 332,000 passengers in Aug-2015, a record for the airport during the entire period of operation since 1932. The airport expects to handle total of over 3.0 million passengers in 2015. Vilnius Airport director Artūras Stankevičius said: "The airport is now visited daily by more than 10 thousand passengers. We believe this is an excellent outcome of the cooperation between us and our partners. This year we expect to achieve the record of the annual number of passengers as well - the new routes opened in autumn, totalling to eleven, should boost it." [more - original PR]
