Canada's Vancouver International Airport passenger numbers up 8% - traffic highlights for Aug-2014:

  • Passenger numbers: 2.1 million, +8.0% year-on-year;
    • Domestic: 1.1 million, +8.2%;
    • International: 1.0 million, +7.7%;
      • Transborder: 510,057, +9.1%;
      • Asia Pacific: 291,281, +7.6%;
      • Europe: 186,144, +4.6%;
      • Other: 19,492, +3.7%;
    • Cargo volume: 22,498 tonnes, +13.3%;
    • Aircraft movements: 26,506, +3.7%.
