US Airways pax numbers up 6.4% in Dec-2010

US Airways reports (05-Jan-2011) the following consolidated traffic highlights:

  • Dec-2010:
    • Passenger numbers: 4.9 million, +6.4% year-on-year;
      • Domestic: 4.4 million, +6%;
      • Trans-Atlantic: 169,624, +18%;
      • Latin America: 309,429, +6.6%;
    • Load factor: 80.4%, +1.6 ppts;
      • Domestic: 81.3%, +1.6 ppts;
      • Trans-Atlantic: 75.6%, -1.4 ppts;
      • Latin America: 80.3%, +6.9 ppts;
  • 12 months to Dec-2010:
    • Passenger numbers: 59.8 million, +1.5%;
      • Domestic: 53.5 million, +0.7%;
      • Trans-Atlantic: 2.5 million, +4.4%;
      • Latin America: 3.8 million, +11.7%;
    • Load factor: 81.9%, +0.6 ppt;
      • Domestic: 82.6%, +0.2 ppt;
      • Trans-Atlantic: 80.6%, +2.7 ppts;
