US Airways expands Washington DC service

US Airways confirmed (03-Jan-2012) it will commence service to 11 new destinations and expand operations to three existing destinations from Washington Ronald Reagan National Airport following the closing of its slot transaction agreement with Delta Air Lines. Eight of the 11 new destinations that the carrier will serve currently have no service to the airport. The new services are the next step in US Airways' plan to focus on its core service areas of Washington DC, Philadelphia, Phoenix and Charlotte.
