US Airways announces sale of 26.3 million shares

US Airways announced (22-Sep-2009) the sale of 26.3 million shares of its common stock to Citi, as underwriter in the public offering of those shares. The carrier granted Citi an option to purchase up to an additional 3.9 million shares of common stock solely to cover over-allotments, if any.
