United, Continental and ANA awarded antitrust immunity by US DoT

United Airlines, Continental Airlines and ANA announced (10-Nov-2010) the US Department of Transportation (DoT) issued a final order granting antitrust immunity enabling the carriers to execute a trans-Pacific JV under which they intend to jointly develop flight schedules and sales activities.
